Are you planning a yoga retreat in Suffolk? If so, you'll want to make sure that you have all the necessary dietary requirements covered. During the long weekend, healthy plant-based and whole-grain meals are complemented by yoga, meditation and daily walks in the countryside. You will be encouraged to turn off digital devices and massages, facials, reflexology and personal training are offered at an additional cost. We have a vegetarian kitchen and can cater for special dietary needs.

Yoga teacher Wendy Brown leads two 90-minute morning yoga sessions based on gentle, detoxifying “flow” routines. These retreats are much more relaxed and conscious, with plenty of time to read, sit by the fireplaces, chat with other guests, and enjoy some of the lovely treatments on offer.

Oliver Ricote is a massage therapist, yoga teacher and movement specialist with degrees from the ARYM Institute in Mysore, India, and the World School of Yoga for Peace in Rishikesh, India. Grace creates a very warm and supportive space in which to deepen the practice of yoga and learn more about the teachings of yoga. The morning views over the Suffolk countryside and the gentle awakening to warm water and lemon before doing yoga were perfect. The schedule for Saturday includes guided morning meditation from 9:00 a.m.

to 1:00 p.m., debate prior to the practice of morning yoga from 1:00 p.m., lunch from 14:00 to 16:00 p.m., free time to relax in beautiful gardens, massages to book, hot tub or outdoor pool from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:30 p.m., and evening debate with campfire %26.Hosts Sharon and Lauretta Gavin host monthly retreats over a long weekend in an elegantly converted barn near Stowmarket, in rural Suffolk. A weekend retreat of yoga, meditation, nature and connection in historic Butley Priory, in the wild nature of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, to help you develop a deeper connection with yourself through nature, yoga, nutritious foods and a community of like-minded people. Yoga and meditation are often practiced outdoors, in the garden; otherwise, the spacious games room serves as a yoga studio and meditation space.
