Are you looking for a way to relax and unwind? A yoga retreat in Suffolk could be the perfect solution. Hosted by Sharon and Lauretta Gavin, these monthly retreats offer a unique opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with yourself. The program includes daily yoga, meditation, sound healing, dancing, nature walks, and delicious clean food – all designed to support your process of self-discovery. The retreats take place over a long weekend in an elegantly converted barn near Stowmarket, in rural Suffolk.

The mornings start with warm water and lemon before doing yoga, with stunning views over the countryside. Yoga teacher Wendy Brown leads two 90-minute morning yoga sessions based on gentle, detoxifying “flow” routines. In addition to yoga and meditation, there are daily walks in the countryside and plenty of time to read, sit by the fireplaces, chat with other guests, and enjoy some of the lovely treatments on offer. Massages, facials, reflexology and personal training are available at an additional cost.

The retreats are led by Oliver Ricote, a massage therapist, yoga teacher and movement specialist with degrees from the ARYM Institute in Mysore, India, and the World School of Yoga for Peace in Rishikesh, India. Healthy plant-based and whole-grain meals are served throughout the weekend. If you're looking for a way to relax and reconnect with yourself, a yoga retreat in Suffolk could be just what you need. With its stunning views over the countryside and its focus on yoga, meditation and self-discovery, it's an ideal way to take some time out from your busy life.
